Last weekend to order with LOCAL PICKUP option. We are so grateful to for being our “spot” - our spot for dehydrating and making meals, and also our spot where our Chatt-town customers could drive through to get meals quickly and without shipping charges. They are awesome folks and we hope you’ll order TrailDrops for local pickup once more, and get a top-quality coffee in their drive-thru next week when you pick up your meals. I’ve had several friends and customers ask about getting t-shirts to have as a TrailDrops souvenir. We’re basically sold out, but my buddy Trey at has generously agreed to print a run of T-shirts with no minimum order. If you would like to order a T-shirt, let me know in the next few days. They are a very soft and stretchy cotton/polyester blend, very comfortable! Sizes are XS to XXL. $15 each. If anyone is interested in sweatshirts, I will ask him about that too.

Happy Labor Day, TrailDroppers. I hope that the long weekend finds many of you out enjoying nature and this beautiful weather.

It is fitting that this workers' holiday is the day that I tell you that my life is about to include a lot less work: I am closing TrailDrops.

It has been six years since I walked into a LAUNCH class with the skeleton of an idea of the business that I wanted to start. It has been two years since 218 of you (our amazing Kickstarter backers!) funded TrailDrops to move into a commercial kitchen. This allowed us to get permitted for retail and expand our operations. It has been a wild and busy ride with each month bringing new achievements and new challenges, but ultimately the business has not found a sustainable track. Sales rise, but so do expenses and management complexities.

There are so many thank you’s, but especially to YOU - my customers who came back again and again to support a small business that made quality, healthy backpacking meals.

And for now, TrailDrops does still have some meals in stock - please buy us out and get your TrailDrops cravings satisfied for the last time!! It's been real - real fun, real hard, real rewarding! Hope to see you all on the trail!!
