So, since I will be there, I’ll have my doors open to you to come shop.

Monday
9:00 am - 4:00 with a short break at 4:30.

Tuesday: 12:00-7:00pm

Wednesday: 10:00 am - 4 with a break and I’ll be back at 6:00-8:00

It’s been a minute and there are 3600 of you now.

I am a building a life from a created in 2016.

I love teaching, flowers, stories, and vintage fashion.

I’m an open book and my joy is holding space for your stories. I believe in being curious about the world around you, especially nature.

I’m a helper and a fixer and I will be your biggest cheerleader.

I’m depending on your support in my little dream as I enter my fourth decade.

I’ve always enjoyed a good cup of coffee.
And always out of a glass mug or a ceramic one crafted by a local maker.

In fact, before it was trendy and fun and we all needed that 4:00 pick me up, I was ordering coffee beans to grind in 2004.

This was a huge deal for the little Folgers town I was raised in.

Starbucks just put in a tiny shop in the basement of my university Northern Michigan University | Public College on Lake Superior and now we get to be part of the Northshore Starbucks market tomorrow.

At any rate, drink good coffee.

I started this piece at the end of 2024.
At the time, I was trying to represent life in hydrangeas.

Sometimes life feels like a 🌪️
A whirlwind of expectations
Constant noise and you’re
Standing in the eye, hoping for
Calm, watching the chaos and
Destruction unfold.

2025 was the destruction.
I set this piece down.
I had the courage to revisit the once perceived hope of this piece.

And I shifted my mindset.
Instead of hydrangeas being the focus, I added in other bits of florals and pieces of wings and leaves.

And now, what is life without the ebb and flow of expectations, goals, realities?

Are you brave enough to step outside of societal norms to release yourself from the noise?
Are you secure enough in your self to stand up for what you know is right and true, even though the world around is demanding submission?

Don’t be quiet in your truth to make others comfortable.

This piece transformed the way I create.
Each project I’ve said yes to after this iconic piece, was more detail oriented and story driven.

The best advice was to just let the flowers do the talking.
