Hello everyone! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. It is with our deepest regret that I inform everyone that the long time owner and operator Kenneth Peckinpaugh has went to rejoice with his wife in our lords kingdom. Ken (as most of you know him by) has owned and operated Chatham Shirts since 2002. He has helped with so many projects in the community that alot of you didn't even know about. From the welcome to Chatham signs to the little kiosk in the middle of town near the cleaners and court house to sponsoring many ball teams and the list goes on. He was proud of this community and loved Chatham and the people in it. He loved getting new customers and loved conversations with long term customers. I myself had the pleasure of working and managing Chatham Shirts with him for 18 years and meeting so many of you. My husband Craig also worked there for about 13 years along side of Ken. Not just was he my boss but he was my daughters grandpa. Ken made so many long term friends thru this company and many of you became like family to him. I have thought very long and hard about what to do from here and where to turn to and what the next move should be. I regret to inform everyone but with family health issues and me working and Breanna in school pursuing dual enrollment college classes, I have no choice but to close the business down. We are so proud to have served this community and all of you in it for almost 20 years. This is not something I thought would happen so soon but the lord knows when it is our time better than we do. I've prayed over this and I believe that God has led me to the path I am on for many reasons. I would love to thank all the businesses and individuals that allowed us to serve them and gave us the opportunity to make the company what it was. I am currently working at Custom Embroidery and Screen Printing in Danville behind sheetz and I would love to invite you all to come join me there and give us the chance to serve you and provide you with amazing work! Feel free to call 434-799-3153 and let the wonderful customer service team help you out with your projects and tell em' Brandy sent you 😉 If anyone would like to contact me they may do so at 434-250-0039 and I would be glad to speak with you. If anyone would like to contribute to Ken's funeral services they may do so by calling Scott funeral home in Chatham and they would be glad to help or you can contact me and I will be glad to help you. Once again I am so sorry to do this but I feel this is what's best for now. Thank the Chatham community as well as all of our long time customers. Hold your loved ones a little tighter, we never know when the lord will need us to answer. May God bless you all.
Thank You,
Brandy Aten
