✨ Saturday Spotlight: Meet Jody ✨

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Jody, our Head of Creative Development Ops, who joined us in December 2024! 💛

Jody brings creativity and passion into everything she does, and it shows. When she’s not working her magic behind the scenes, you’ll likely find her quilting, crocheting, embroidering, or cross stitching - if it involves thread and creativity, she’s all in!

She also loves getting lost in a good audiobook, especially true crime and murder mysteries. (We definitely wouldn’t want to be in one of her stories! 😄)

At home, Jody is a proud mom to her two grown sons, Jory and Jaden, and shares life with her three adorable dogs - Izzy, Emmy, and Max. 🐾

Jody says it best: every day she gets to wake up and live her dream of working in the quilting world, and she’s grateful for each and every moment. And we’re just as grateful to have her on our team! 💕

✨ Saturday Spotlight: Meet Carn! ✨

Carn has been part of the GE Designs story since September of 2020 - back where it all started at Gudrun’s house in Chaska! 🏡 From those early days working out of Gudrun's home, to where we are now, Carn has been there helping things run smoothly every step of the way. Today, she’s our Order Processing Specialist, making sure your orders are handled with care and get where they need to go.

She’s a true maker at heart and enjoys all kinds of sewing, along with knitting and crocheting. If it involves creating something cozy or beautiful, she’s all in! 🧵

When she’s not crafting, you’ll likely find her spending time with friends and family - especially her 13 grandchildren ❤️ - or enjoying the outdoors while camping and gardening. And every now and then, she’ll top it all off with an occasional cocktail (because balance, right? 😉).
