UVA Bookstores

The University of Virginia Bookstore is a self-supporting, non-profit organization, owned and operated by the University.

We contribute to UVA's Endowment for Excellence, student programming and scholarships. A portion of every sale from this web site is returned to the University through AccessUVa and student programming. When you shop at UVA's bookstore in person, through our catalog, or at our web site,

Located across from Newcomb Hall (the Student Union building) on the University of Virginia Grounds, we are within easy walking distance of the Rotunda, Scott Stadium, and the UVA Medical Center. With over 45,000 square feet of store space, and with 6 locations we are the largest supplier of "Everything UVA"! From textbooks to tradebooks and the latest magazines, to the very best in UVA branded clothing, to school and dormitory supplies, to the best in UVA gifts. Diploma frames, fine framed prints and furniture can be viewed and ordered from our stores, and shipped to your home. The Book Shop has over 30,000 unique titles in stock. Our sales staff have access to almost any title that is in print, while being able to find and order even out of print material. Fiction, non-fiction, faculty titles, children's books, reference titles, maps, magazines, computer titles, self help and many, many more categories can be found in our Central Grounds store.
