Our collaboration with The Superior Labor has arrived in Charlotte!

If you missed it, we’ve been working on our collab with T.S.L and had the great pleasure to visit their workshop in Japan to see the items being made!

The Superior Labor creates hand-crafted bags, leather goods, and stationery accessories in a converted 1940’s schoolhouse in the mountains close to Okayama, in a cozy place called Nap Village. The company is owned by husband and wife team, Makoto and Yoshimi, and is staffed by craftsmen and women who create each piece with careful skill and intention. Their goods are made from the finest leathers, canvas, and brass materials. Every item is hand printed, painted, embossed, cut, sewn, and finished. They work alongside three shop dogs, Grand, Porky, and Toi, who bring even more joy to their zen factory.
Our collaboration pieces:
XS Engineer Tote with a Shoulder Strap - Gorgeous light brown canvas with a dark brown painted bottom and dark brown leather. An outer leather pocket, top zip closure, and an interior pocket. This bag features an illustration showcasing the tools T.S.L uses to create their goods, our postmark (eeek!), and of course, Mr. Zippy! $350

Petite Engineer Tote - The cutest Air Mail design, with a painted blue bottom and tan leather. An outer leather pocket and an interior pocket. The letter reads: “Dear Friend, From our small workshop in Japan to North Carolina, we send this piece to travel alongside you. May it carry memories just like a postcard.” $150
