September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to support children affected by cancer. I am so excited to partner with the Carolinas local chapter for St. Jude Hospital this month through the sales of the “have a heart” earrings. The have a heart earrings is my way of contributing to so many wonderful causes around Charlotte and beyond! They make a great gift, while doing good!🥰 Learn more about by visiting their page!

I was recently invited to a baby sprinkle, where we made gemstone necklaces and celebrated friendship & new life together! I made these 3 designs as examples, but it was so fun to see what all the women ended up doing on their own… 🥰

In 2014, my oldest started Kindergarten. I was beside myself. As I walked her to school on her first day, her little face looked up to mine and said, “Mom, You’re not going to cry again are you? I’m ready for this.” I held it together until we separated and then quickly left the building before anyone noticed my lip quivering and tears building up. We read “The Kissing Hand” book and I knew I needed to do something to keep parents and children connected throughout their day. That is when the “mommy and me” bracelets were born 10 years ago. You mamas have invited me into your first day of school experiences for all these years. I have made hundreds of bracelets & keychains for your families to help smooth over school transition. They are just as loved by parents as they are the children and I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed connecting with you in this way for all this time! The word spread so well, I was even invited to be on local news! 🥰
This year will be the best collection yet and I’m
getting started now and this community always get the special treatment! This year, local friends can make it a date to bring your little one over and make a selection together! I know what you love and trust me the selection will be perfection with tons to choose from. (Photo is an example of style variations from a few years ago!)

I’m so excited to introduce you to Miss Nyla and The Nyla D. Brown Heart Scholarship! This scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in the Cardiac Perfusion Program at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Established in honor of little Nyla living with a congenital heart defect. The hope is to shine a light on this niche field, inspire and create diversity, and give awareness about pediatric heart health.

Love is in the air! What are your traditions, or memories of Valentine’s Day? It has definitely become a family holiday for us over the years. With Ash Wednesday falling on Valentine’s Day this year, we will spend our love-filled day at church with a fondue dessert to end the day! 🥰
This is one of my very favorite pictures taken by the talented back in 2020. It’s crazy to think that just a few weeks later the world would shut down! The girls are growing up so fast, so when I run across these sweet memories it makes any heart skip a beat..
