That $5 fiddle leaf fig has come a longgg way..
Backstory: Four years ago we purchased a fiddle leaf fig and a bird of paradise for $5 each. Both plants were from an owner who didn’t take good care of them and said they had spider mites. They actually just had spider webs lol…and were incredibly root bound.
After 4 years of proper care and attention..the fiddle is really glowing 🙌🏼✨

A lil morning watering sesh 😊🪴🚿
We built this growing station primarily for growing our Alocasia corms & babies.
We used clear totes & grow lights to create mini greenhouses. We use a light bed of perlite at the base of each tote to help with drainage, so that plants don’t sit in water (aka Root Rot City 🫠). Also, the perlite bed encourages extra root growth out of the bottom of the pots (aka happy healthy plants 😊).
The water also includes a dash of our favorite plant booster, @superthrive
