Miracle Tea-
It’s cold season so it time to boost your immunity and/or soothe cold symptoms with my favorite miracle tea recipe.
The lemon and orange juice is full of vitamin C.
Honey has antimicrobial properties and is effective in soothing a sore throat as well as a list a mile long of health benefits.
Fresh ginger has anti inflammatory properties in addition to its ability to provide relief from nausea symptoms.
Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant.
Black pepper aids the body’s ability to absorb the turmeric faster.
Apple cider vinegar a natural detoxification-for the liver. It stimulates circulation in the body to push that cold out of you faster.
Cinnamon is a natural anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-biotic and anti-fungal immune boosting spice.
Cayenne pepper provides relief for aches and pains as well as providing detox support.
1 tablespoon honey or more to taste
1-2 inch piece/sliced fresh ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice or orange juice
1 -2 inch cinnamon stick
1 1/2 has cups water
dash of cayenne and black pepper
Method: Bring all ingredients, except honey, to a boil and continue boiling for 4 minutes.
Pour tea through a strainer into mug then add honey. Stir and enjoy the relief.
