Can we talk trash for a second here? We had a pretty big goal for 2026 when we moved into our new studio. We wanted to cut our landfill waste in HALF. Sooo… composting and recycling entered the chat! When we moved back in December, we got a dumpster half the size (which we have yet to fill from a busy week!) committed to taking all of our unusable cardboard to Sonoco recycling, returning reusable boxes to Mayesh Charlotte, and partnered with Crown Town Compost to compost as much green waste as possible! So far, we’ve recycled nearly 1,500 pounds of cardboard, returned countless boxes for reuse and composted over 4000 pounds! I say we’re off to a pretty good start!

How do you pick a boutonniere flower for your groom? First off, we try to use something that we are already using in your flower palate, BUT if you don't have anything that will maintain peak quality in a bout, sometimes we bring in something different! The all-star here? Ranunculus! For such a delicate looking flower, it holds up well through long wedding days and it it is something different than what your guy probably wore to prom back in the day. Also, it has a hollow stem so we can soak a pipe cleaner in water and use that to provide interior support AND hydration! Win, win! So do you love ranunculus as much as we do?
