Backpacks, cleats, wet shoes, and about nine months of the same door opening forty times a day — the front of your house takes more punishment between August and May than the rest of it does all year. 👟

Most flooring showrooms hand you a 4-inch sample and ask you to imagine the rest. 🤔

Ours are already on the ground — and they've been getting walked on for years. ⬇️

A big chunk of our showroom floor is real, installed hardwood. Every customer, every contractor, every rolling sample cart, every rainy Saturday when it's busy — all of it goes right across those boards. A showroom floor takes more foot traffic in a month than most living rooms see in years. 👞

So when you're standing there deciding between finishes, you're not looking at a pristine display piece. You're looking at what that floor actually looks like after. The wear. The scratches it did and didn't take. How the finish held up. How it cleans. 🪵
