Statement on the arrest of Isaac Alexander:

Authorities have confirmed that Isaac Alexander, a widely recognized Halloween DIY creator, has been taken into custody following a months-long investigation involving the alleged theft of 280 foam pumpkins from Hobby Lobby stores.

According to officials, Mr. Alexander is believed to have carried out a series of low-profile visits over the past year, gradually removing seasonal décor items without raising immediate suspicion. Investigators say the pumpkins were reportedly intended for use in an “over-the-top Halloween display” described as “ambitious… and mildly concerning.”

Store employees first noticed irregularities in inventory late last fall, particularly within the seasonal aisle. A deeper review of surveillance footage allegedly revealed a pattern tied to repeated visits by the same individual, who would steal one pumpkin at a time by stuffing it underneath his shirt to make it look like he had a beer belly.

Law enforcement sources described the case as “unusual in both scale and dedication,” noting that the suspect showed “a clear vision… just highly questionable execution.”

When questioned, Mr. Alexander allegedly responded:
“If they didn’t want me to take them, why were they all so perfectly round?”

The estimated value of the missing items is believed to be in the thousands. Authorities have stated that formal charges are pending as the investigation continues.

What’s next?
Life has a way of quietly recalibrating you. Sometimes it’s not about doing more, but about understanding why you do what you do in the first place. As I move into my sixth year of creating here, I’ve been taking time to reflect on where I’m headed in life and what I want to pour more intention into moving forward. This channel has always been about creativity, imagination, and sharing meaningful moments - not just projects or seasons.

As part of that reflection, I wanted to share a small update. A new fitness-focused YouTube channel is almost ready to launch, and I’m excited to explore that side of my life more intentionally. At the same time, I’ll continue creating holiday-related projects that many of you have loved over the years. And there’s another part of me I’m looking forward to sharing more of as well - gardening. Many of you may not know this, but I’ve always been obsessed with plants, all the way back to when I was a little boy. While other kids asked for toys or video games, I asked for seeds, botany books, and potted plants. Somewhere along the way, life got busy, and I forgot how important it is to slow down and quite literally stop to smell the roses. That is why I’m excited to be bringing more gardening related content this year.

With all of that in mind, I’d genuinely love to hear from YOU. What would you like to see more of? Is there something you’d enjoy watching me create, explore, or share moving forward? It doesn’t have to fit into a specific category or time of year. Your ideas and your presence help shape where this journey goes next, and I’m truly grateful to everyone who continues to be here. Thank you for being part of it. 🇺🇸

Just finished installing the viral Home Depot Santa and his reindeer on the roof of my two-story home! I made a full YouTube tutorial showing how to secure them safely without damaging your roof, shingles, or using any screws. So if you’re wanting to put Santa and his reindeer on your roof this year, tap the link below. 🎅🏻🦌✨ https://youtu.be/CtyOPRzbMko?si=eyRsorlv4s2WblHh

My new tutorial is launching in a few hours. It’s the biggest of season! Can you guess what it will be from this riddle?:

At 3PM, something wild will land…
It’s loud, it’s bold, and larger than planned.
It’s green, it’s mean, and hard to ignore -
Breaking out where roofs are meant to store.
Guess if you can, but don’t be too grand…
What could it be? A mystery… or a hand?

This year has reminded me of something powerful - no matter how much negativity tries to creep in, kindness, love, and community will always shine brighter.

I’ve heard the criticism - that my display brings too much traffic, or that it’s something dark or wrong. But the truth is, what I create each year comes from a place of love and joy. It’s about bringing families together, giving kids something magical to remember, and sharing a little light in a world that needs more of it. Hate has no place here.

This year, I reached incredible milestones - hitting 100,000 subscribers on YouTube, receiving countless messages from parents telling me how much their children loved the display, making new friends, and finding a renewed sense of hope.

So for me, Halloween isn’t about the monsters or the candy.
It’s about smiles. It’s about connection. It’s about doing what I love and spreading that joy to others, no matter what.

Which reminds me of a good verse:
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” - Romans 12:21 ✝️

As we get ready to go out to our parties, to hang out with friends and family, to take our kids trick-or-treating, or to simply have a quiet evening, may all of you have a wonderful Halloween. 🖤🎃
