Juneteenth, or Freedom Day, is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. This holiday is considered the longest-running African-American holiday and has been called America’s Second Independence Day.

All of this compounded has been extremely difficult on LGBTQI+ youth, 45% of whom considered su***de in the past year - a devastating reality we must acknowledge and address.
It may sound simple-minded, but kindness does always come back. When you can do good, do it! When you can be better, be it! All of us, every single one, can affect change. Today, start by being kind. You will never know the real effect it may have.
