Any Record Store Day stories? A friend and I went to the big indie shop in Poughkeepsie, and the line was around the building! Not wanting to wait, we threw in the towel. He decided to drive by Half Moon Records at Palen's on his way home. Good thing, because he scored some gems for himself and one of the Steely Dan releases for me. Nice!

Do you ever feel nostalgic? I do. Tell me something (or things) you miss. The first 25 people to comment are welcome to one of these stickers I unearthed. I'll start. I miss VHS tapes, organized by director, with handmade "rented" signs. I miss Sermet's (those mussels!) and Vickery's (fries with pepper gravy) and I miss all of you!

Twelve years ago? That's hard to believe. Damn you, Facebook, for making me feel old and nostalgic. Aside from Ben Bridwell playing a solo gig in the store, what is the second best thing about this photo? The 52.5 foot woman? "Elvis had a stinky butt"? or maybe that prom photo with Brady?
