I just closed my Etsy shop after 3 years and 300 sales, both domestic and international. Although it sounds like I was doing well, I have yet to break even. Demand for my carefully crafted niche products on Etsy is too seasonal - an all-out frenzy at Christmas, and very little the rest of the year. Meanwhile Etsy keeps charging me fees while I sell nothing. It was a fun business to operate, and I will miss it. I still plan to make miniatures according to my own desires, which I may sell at craft fairs. But I’m tired of losing money on Etsy. 😞

Finally finished… a garden potting bench with one working drawer and one working cabinet door. (The other side has the sink behind it so it doesn’t work.). I had to order new faucets. This was my last one! Tomorrow I’ll wrap it and mail it. 😊
