Great start, then it got tough! Had five (5) keepers and 5-6 twenty inch fish we thru back. Great weather & super nice group this morning.

ps - he careful out there … saw a detached dock floating in open water near Shull Island this morning. 😱

Bite was tough this morning. Had no problems finding fish, but struggled to catch good keeper fish. We thru back 15+ small fish - ended morning with six (6) keepers. We got lucky and found some schooling fish! Fish we caught schooling were all good keepers. 😃

Fish are scattered and do not seem very interested in feeding. If you go anytime this week prepare to be a little frustrated!

Mother nature gave us a good day to fish. Caught a good many fish. Lost track of the number of 20 inch fish we thru back! It’s gonna be a heck of a summer. 😄

Folks today were from South Dakota. Super nice people! I have been invited to do some pheasant hunting with them. 😄 Hmm - I can be talked into doing that!

Caught a good many throwbacks today. Had to move a couple times to get away from the small fish. Was a FUN trip!

Trifecta this morning - Wind, Rain & Cold.  No problem finding fish. I’m optimistic bite will be much improved this week. Fish were where we expected them to be.

Bite was a challenge this morning. Caught a double digit number of fish - roughly half were throw backs. Fish are scattered - nothing easy about the bite right now.

Fun trip with some great people! Took a little “trickeration” to get’r done. 😄

We worked HARD this morning. Had no problems finding fish - couldn’t trigger a continuous bite! 😱 Will give it another try tomorrow.

Heck of a morning with some first time striper fishermen! They put on a show! They even let me catch one. 😄
