Meet the Team Kickoff: The Story Behind Our Store
Over the next few weeks, we are introducing our team. To kick things off, I wanted to share my own story.
From Corporate Grind to Family Focus
I spent most of my career as a residential framing designer and regional manager. I eventually became a full-time single parent to my three kids. To be there for them, I spent the next 10 plus years working in the beverage industry.
During that decade, I married my amazing wife, Jennifer, creating a blended household of six kids. Eventually, corporate stress triggered a serious health condition. I chose to leave that world to build a legacy I could share with my family. That leap of faith became our independent storefront here in Chandler, opening in December 2023.
Built to Serve Our Community
I have built LEGO my entire life, a passion I share with my kids and grandson. When I opened this independent shop, my goal was to build a community hub. Our focus is 100 percent locked onto our neighborhood. We do not invest energy into outside noise; our purpose is to serve our people every single day.
We love partnering with local schools and charities. Deeply near and dear to my heart is our autism community, and we proudly provide sensory-friendly hours to limit overstimulation so every builder feels safe.
A True Family Business
Three of my children work right alongside me every day, and a fourth opened his own shop over in Peoria. I am profoundly thankful to give back, serve, and bring joy to our local builders. Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned to meet the rest of our amazing team.
