started building prototypes to improve the wooden base mouse trap in late 2017-early 2018 when we found many of the mouse traps used at that time had the bait eaten but the trap was not triggered. Discovering that mice actually lick up the bait, instead of gripping or pulling it away from the bait station, lead to the redesign of the bait station, bait holder and the need for a much more sensitive trigger.
