We're closing early (now) again today because our AC has stopped working for the third time in two weeks.

We're working to get everything fixed as quickly as possible and will share updates as soon as we have them. Thank you all for sticking with us through this very annoying saga. We can't wait to welcome everyone back (hopefully with cold air this time) 💛

Our AC units were vandalized this week. When we called the HVAC repair person, he found that someone had gone on the roof and cut the low-voltage wires in three places, causing two of our AC units to fail. We don’t know who did this, and we don’t know why. I just want to thank you for your patience with our erratic hours ❤️ I hope against hope that they’re behind us now.

We're so so sorry, everyone. Especially on the first day of our Summerween weekend 😔

We wouldn't do this if we didn't absolutely have to, but our AC has decided to break down for the second time this week. As much as we'd love to push through, we can't comfortably or safely welcome everyone into the space in this heat.

We'll keep you updated as soon as we know more, and we're hoping to be back up and running as quickly as possible. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding, we're just as disappointed as you are 🩵

Join us for the 4pm showing of the original W***y Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) at the Savoy 16 theater on Sunday, Aug 2nd. We’ll be there a bit early, so just look for the bookish-looking besties holding a book in the lobby 🎩

If you carry a book with you, we’ll be able to pick you out of a crowd too! This is BYOT (bring your own ticket), and the earlier everyone gets there, the better chance we’ll all have of sitting together!
