SUMMER 2026 HOURS
As we move toward retirement, we are transitioning to fewer regular hours. We will be open only by chance or appointment.
Our page will be the place to look for special hours
particularly on weekends and around holidays. We do not mind calls! Call and we will do our best to give you the chance to shop.
Thank you in advance for understanding. If you do have time to swing off the highway and drive be the store, we are there quite a bit by chance. There are other great shops on Main Street too!

REGARDING BILLBOARDS
Several Years ago we sold all but 4 of our billboards when we sold our property in Oacoma. If you are stopping in based on a billboard, we apologize if the information on that sign was not
accurate. We have no control over these signs and wish they were changed to the new owner's information. Thank you for understanding.

New This Year!
We are condensing our route for a more intense "Journey" of fun! Start at Reliance and head east to Plankinton on I-90, then following a loop to the south to Lake Andes and up to Platte. This entire loop can be driven straight through in under 2.5 hours. Why does this matter?
This means more shopping and less driving!

The book section of the store has gotten an overhaul and is not quite done yet, except for the current regional authors shelves. Only a true book person would say this but aren't they beautiful! Favorites are getting restocked and lots of new ones too. Watch this page for more bookish posts.
We are in the store today probably until about 3. Stop in and say hello.
