About a month ago, I saw inked magazine was having a contest. On a whim, I said “why not” and entered to be picked to be in the contest. I never, EVER, thought in a million years I would get picked, but I’m so excited I did!
I’m representing all the women, and moms, who decided to stop dying their hair and let their gray come in, who doesn’t look like an influencer, who has tattoos and are proud of them, even though they were told “you will regret those someday.”
Most importantly, my hope is that I can make other women, those who identify as women, and moms, who are almost 40 and above, feel confident enough to take a chance.
I know it’s hard to feel beautiful, or pretty, or sometimes just feel like your enough, but know that you don’t have to be this perfect person that is shoved in our faces daily through social media, tv, magazines, etc.
When my daughter sees this, I hope she knows she doesn’t have look like everyone else and change who she is in order to feel confident in herself.
You are enough, you are important, there is someone out there who needs you. Tomorrow needs you 💜
