The shop had a Browning Browning B25 Superposed in that had the whole inertia system rebuilt. The shotgun was not switching from the bottom barrel to the top barrel when fired and I could not see anything that was preventing this. The only thing not replaced was the trigger, so I replaced this and it only worked intermittently. When I would bump the gun on the bench it would switch. I sat there for about 5 minutes thinking about it, then it came to me. The customer installed a 7 inch mercury recoil reducer in the stock. The new parts and tight tolerance of the parts along with the recoil device was in theory dampening the inertia. I removed the reducer then went and test fired it, sure enough my theory was correct. The shotgun functioned flawlessly after the devices removal. The customer is going to try a smaller device and see if that will work without damping the inertia to the point where it affects functionality.

American Arms Derby in .410. This shotgun came in with the complaint of not switching to the second barrel. Upon inspection, it was found to need the trigger assembly reworked along with the locks. Once this was completed, I found that the right hand ejector was not properly functioning. The fix was to re-time the ejector. The shotgun was test, fired for function and reliability.

Beretta 688 in 12 gauge. This shotgun came into the shop for fitting and it was decided that the customer needed 7/8” removed off the stock. This will give the customer a 13 7/8 length of pull. The stock was then fitted with a Kick Eez 401-8 pad, giving it the 13 7/8 length of pull.

Browning Citori XT in 12 gauge. This shotgun was brought in for cleaning and service. This shotgun, I would guess has never had any service completed, due to how dirty it was and the condition of the firing pins and the internal springs. The shotgun was completely disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated. The test firing was completed for function and reliability.
