Uptown Centerville is thrilled to announce the arrival of our newest tenant: a state-of-the-art T-Mobile cell tower! This marks the first-ever public-private collaboration of its kind in our city, bringing next-level connectivity while honoring the historic charm our residents know and love.

The Uptown Planning Committee shared:
"We’re committed to preserving the heart and soul of Uptown Centerville. That’s why this tower has been designed with subtle brick accents, vintage lamppost-inspired lighting, and—most importantly—unlimited 5G access for every smartphone enthusiast. It’s the perfect blend of history and high-speed technology!"

The city’s Planning Department also confirmed that the tower will be strategically placed to ensure visual impact… while still giving your selfies an unbeatable upload speed.

📱 Construction will commence this spring, and we can’t wait for everyone to meet our newest neighbor once it arrives. We promise it won’t bite… unless your Wi-Fi is slow.

Head up to pedestrians as progress gets underway!

Crews will close the sidewalks surrounding 4 West Franklin St. for the next three weeks while they work on the exterior of the building. The contractor will do its best to open as much of the sidewalk as possible outside of working hours. Thanks for your patience as private investment continues to enhance Uptown Centerville.
