We’re proud to announce the recipients of the 2026 Appanoose County Tourism Grants

Our 2026 Appanoose County Tourism Grant recipients have been selected through a competitive application process, reviewed and awarded by our Tourism Commission, made up of 3 PACT representatives, 3 City of Centerville representatives, and 3 Appanoose County representatives. These grants are funded by hotel/motel tax, which means we’re intentionally reinvesting dollars generated by visitors back into projects that bring even more people to experience all that Appanoose County has to offer.

As we move into a new year, we are reflecting on 2025 with a fondness in our hearts! If you visited the patch this season, you may have seen a little black kitty running around, hanging with your kiddos, or asking for snacks. We absolutely fell in love with this sweet girl (which is crazy if you know Molly and her feelings about cats). That little black kitty wiggled her way into our hearts and has officially wiggled her way into our home as well!

Ovva, (ah-vuh) named by everyone’s favorite patch manager Brielle, is living her best life snoozing on the window seat, playing with the dogs, and climbing the trees in the yard. She’s feisty, sweet, and fits perfectly into our little four legged family!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy new year! May your resolutions hold true and your year be full of joy! See you in the fall (or maybe before)!

Today was a feel good day for us! We were able to present the CHS Junior Class with a check for just over $2,000!

It was well-earned from all their hard work helping us to put on the Haunted Maze this year! We’re so thankful to them for stepping up to take on this fundraiser and for really committing to their parts in the maze! Great job, CHS Class of 2027!
