Dogs cut to the chase...couldn't have said it better. Second Chance Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary

Did you know - rescues can't function without fosters? Dogs and cats will continue to die in shelters, or out in the streets, if there is nowhere for them to go.

Fosters for Second Chance Ranch Rescue and Sanctuary are provided with everything needed to care for their foster dog or cat- food, toys, supplies, gear (crates, collars, leashes, litter boxes), medical care and a support group! We just need loving families to open their homes and say "yes".
If you're in the greater Fort Bragg/Fayetteville/Sandhills area- please consider fostering.

We can't do this without you. On this we are asking- no, begging- for caring individuals who want to make a difference to join our team of volunteers. 🙏🏻

Foster Failures are the best failures.
Good for you Cora! We are glad to see you have found a furever home.
Southeast GSP Rescue

We love receiving updates from our Alumni… Cora (originally Sally) was pulled from the shelter on Valentines Day 2026 and her foster family quickly realized they needed her to stay (including her GSP brother Henry, 2026 SEGSP Alum).

Her mom Jennifer said, “Cora is doing well! …She lays in my lap while I work during the day and follows me around the house anywhere I go. She's great in her crate when we are gone and lays perfectly still to have her nails done. She loves to play ball but still only plays independently, much to Henry (Waylon)'s dismay!”

We’re so happy to see Cora happy and loved. Thanks for the update!

The only time that failing is a good thing!!
So happy to see people loving pups so much that they can’t let them go. Congratulations AJ!!
Southeast GSP Rescue

AJ’s foster family just couldn’t do it… they can’t let him go! That’s right, he is staying right where he is – another successful foster fail!

His foster/now forever mom, Elizabeth said, “We are so excited that AJ is now part of our family.”

AJ went from an emaciated 35 lbs. to a healthy 55 lbs. and now he can do zoomies and be a typical young GSP… with an amazing family that will love and cherish him!

Congratulations everyone!
