The first major project for RadSport and Radmann Racing was our Swift 008.a Toyota Atlantic. After two years of working in conjunction with NVR Racing of Butler, Wisconsin, we were able to develop a Toyota Atlantic engine and electronics package that will prioritize engine life along with keeping power and torque numbers where they should be. In our Swift, a large port 1600cc engine is being used along with our own piston and rod combination designed for long life.
To keep the power and torque where we need it, we decided to ditch the outdated Pectel ECU for a much more modern Performance Electronics PE3 ECU. This ECU allows for much greater control over the engine, along with some extra safety measures that will be put in place to save the engine from a catastrophic failure if something small turns into something bigger.
Current testing is being done this season on our Swift to develop the tune for optimal performance. This package can be custom tailored to any Toyota-powered Swift 008 or 014 Atlantic. Contact for details regarding this package.
