I created DoBo Crafts in 2023, creating and selling digital prints online, inspired by my pet rats. At the time, DoBo was a nickname I used for gaming and the color scheme, CMYK, made sense because I was creating and printing digital art.

Since then, I have been pushing myself to create more using different mediums, attending juried shows, and selling original pieces. The name and brand have become less and less about what I do and more about putting me into a box, in a way.

That being said, I am excited to announce the new name: Deb J - Art & More! I have been working on a new logo, brand, and all the fun things. It might be a bit longer before I update this and other profiles. But I will slowly be transitioning everything to reflect the new name!

Having my name and personality in the brand gives it a more personal touch and releases the limitation I have with DoBo Crafts. This has been a long time coming, almost a year now, and I can't wait to update!

I am VERY excited to announce that this piece, Life Goes On, won a white ribbon at the Regional Show! Although I did not place first and advance to the State Show, I am very proud that it got the recognition after a full month of pouring my blood, sweat, tears, and soul into this piece. There were a lot of talented artists with brilliant artwork; it was really inspiring to see!

I am working to make a timelaspe video of this piece (like the chicken collage) and can't wait to get the white ribbon to take pictures with the piece.

I do want to sell this piece at some point, but for now, I am enjoying how proud I am of it. I am also in the works of getting prints of it 😃
