Last seen flying near the Kirkwood Apartments yesterday at 7pm, these two babies should not be outside in this heat under any circumstances. If anyone has any information please message us so we can get these babies safely inside asap!

It's Fledging season!! The golden rule here is "If its mostly feathered and not injured, let it be."

Fledgeling birds are fast learners, and often spend only a few days on the ground, under supervision from their parents. They need this time to learn how to forage, hunt, find water, avoid dangers, and -most importantly- fly.

If you see a bird that you believe is in distress, monotor the situation from a wide distance. Listen for the baby and parents to call to eachother, and see how well the baby is moving about before making a decision. Only intervene is the baby is truly in imminent danger.
