It's a celebration of all things Pop Culture at Northpark Mall June 20. Over 100 vendor/artist spots spread throughout the mall for a FREE event! This event is brought to you by Quad Con, and is focused on comics, Transformers, Star Wars, TMNT, Pokemon, Funko pops, action figures, anime, orginal art, vintage video games, cosplay, TCG cards, GI Joe, vinyl records, and yes - even more comic books!
COSPLAY SHOWCASE info: $300 in prizes for Cosplay Saturday June 20! The Comic and Toy Show at Northpark Mall in Davenport is upon us, and we thought we should let everyone know about the Cosplay section of our show.
If you've been to any of our shows, you know we love to celebrate cosplayers and the amazing characters they bring to life through vast amounts of creativity, ingenuity, and some insane levels of out of the box thinking.
Cosplay Showcase - We believe that cosplay is truly for everyone, and if you feel awesome, look awesome, or just want to be seen, we fully encourage your participation in our Showcase! There will not be any pre-judging or judging required for the entrants at this event. A random drawing from all the cosplay showcase entries will receive a $50 gift card to be spent with 1 of the 100+ vendor/artist spots spread throughout the mall. There will be a total of $200 given away. In addition, Epicenter Cards and Games will be giving away $100 in Pokemon cards!!! They are always buying and selling TCG cards, so check ' em out while you are at the show.
Please note that Full face masks are ONLY allowed for the cosplay showcase. If security asks cosplayers to remove a mask - please understand they are doing their job (no face masks are allowed in malls). Please do not bring airsoft or any lifelike guns. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle.
Sign up starts around 1pm. We will line up around 115pm.
The Showcase will kick off at around 130pm. Group photo at the end of the individual showcase.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Northpark Mall by food court around 1:00 for sign up for QuadCon Cosplay Showcase! The Quad Con Comic and Toy show will take place 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday 12 to 5pm. (Please note the mall will be open 1 hour later, but vendors may tear down early) This event will spread throughout the mall. Feel free to share this info
Also - this is a FREE event and no cost to enter cosplay showcase.

Special Guest Alexander Iaccarino is scheduled to be a part of Quad Con this weekend. Alexander illustrates and produces artworks combining the craft of screenprinting and the art of classic film posters. Based in Austin, Texas where he illustrates officially licensed Star Wars and Marvel posters as well as artwork for clients including AMC, PlayStation, NBC, and Rooster Teeth. Be sure to check out his booth this Saturday and Sunday at Northpark Mall in Davenport IA. Over 100 vendor and artist spots spread throughout the mall dealing in all things Pop Culture.

ATTENTION QUAD CITY POP CULTURE FANS! Join us for a FREE event at Northpark Mall Saturday June 20 & Sunday June 21. Over 100 vendors/artists will be taking over the mall. If you are into comic books, TMNT, Transformers, Magic the Gathering, vintage video games, GI Joe, action figures, original art, Pokemon, Transformers, and other pop culture goodness - then get to Northpark Mall. Cosplay showcase will happen at 130pm on Saturday, and the record show will happen in Von Maur corridor on Saturday as well. Vendors will be located throughout the mall, so get those walking shoes on! Open during normal mall hours Sat 10-7 and Sun Noon-5.
