It is Thanksgiving Eve and I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all my past customers and employees ❤️
I miss all of you and miss seeing everyone more than you know😞 Taking care of everyone for so many years it feels like losing friends 😞 Please know that I miss you all often and will never forget all the wonderful days we had at Coastal Outlet! Sometimes I wish I could do it all over again🥹
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and know I will be be thinking of all of you and look forward to your pictures ❤️

Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament: Mercenaria boated a 572.6-pound blue marlin at 11:30 a.m. It was weighed at the dock at about 2 p.m. The owners of the boat won the $777,750 Fabulous Fishermen prize for the catch. More news at wcti12.com.

Happy New Year!
As I think about everything that went on in 2020 it makes my head hurt!
January started out with Carl having cancer surgery and then another surgery in April. In between and still, lots of trips to Duke who have been great!
We also bought a house in Havelock on a creek that goes out to the river. Thanks to a friend of ours who is a realtor who found our dream home while we were waiting on our other home to be redone after it had to be basically gutted after Florence. We were living in a park model at the time so we sold
that, sold our home and then decided to
Retire! Talk about stress!!
Closing Coastal Outlet “the pink joint in Cedar Point” was much harder then I thought 😞 I miss everyone so much and it took several weeks before I felt like myself again. I guess I felt like I was a nobody anymore or something like that 😞 I am feeling better now but one of the reasons
I left was because the building was in such
a mess and due to my contract i had to pay for everything wrong inside. We had a lot
Of damage with Florence and was told it would be fixed since it took so long to get a new roof put on. Lights wouldn’t work, leaks holes in the walls ect.
I am so happy for Lauren’s Boutique as they did a lot of work and it looks wonderful! I hope her and Michelle have as much good luck in that location as I did!
I hope everyone has a safe and much better year in 2021!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was good but quiet. With the pandemic going on, we can’t risk going anywhere with Carl’s health but do hate so much not being with family 😢

Hello to everyone! We finally are out of the store and have sort of rested some. Finishing up was horrible as I felt pressure to be done and with myself, Carl, who is still going through his health issues and 2 employees, plus one we finally was able to get to help us! Some many people didn’t show up or came in late got pick ups is was so hard. The mental part didn’t come until a day of rest as we were are so tired!
We left our outdoor sign up to help Karen who owns Lauren Boutique and who are coming in to help save them money. Maybe they can just put a sign over it and I love her logo!
We had been there over 12 years! So hard to believe, especially since I only wanted something to do a few days a week, lol!
My lease was that I had to do any repairs myself. Looking back now that was crazy! When Florence came I lost clothing and a lot of lights in the front and back as well as bedding. None of it was ever fixed and we had so many issues besides that. The painting on the building that was messed up because of the new roof finally being put on was never completed and that was the time frame was when Carl was going through his cancer treatments:(. The bottom line is I am to nice at times and I trust when someone tells me it is going to be fixed.
Anyway, I am glad Lauren’s Boutique made a list and are going to have the building look better then ever! I just am sorry about changing the color as I think “The Pink Joint in Cedar Point” will always be its name😬
I wish them well! It is a huge place to fill!
Karen has an amazing knack for vision so I can’t wait to see what she and Michelle does!
To all my customers who I call friends, keep checking out my Facebook. I may have some things in the works that I am real excited about.I can never just sit at home all day, lol. I love and miss all of you and hope you will message me once in a while even just to say hi! I will keep this Page open.
I am glad to had closed on my own terms, not because I had to. So many are not so fortunate and I hate that so much😢
Anyway, thanks to everyone for their business and friendship through all these years. I will never forget any of you. You helped make Coast Outlet a success and I will always
be proud of that♥️

So, today is get all the left overs out day, we will be there at 11 to start packing so if you come in early we will take offers on the items left so we don’t have to pack them:) Hurry though as the day goes on everything will be packed! They are in a hurry to get us out of there!

Tomorrow (Saturday) is our last shopping day :(
We will be here Sunday but it should be mostly for clean up!
So...65% of everything except lamps and artwork! Furniture and displays are marked as is.
Please come by and say goodbye. We are so going to miss everyone but will for sure keep in touch through facebook.
We will be here 10-5 tomorrow and 11-5 Sunday!

Looks like it is going to be a busy day tomorrow! We still have good items for great prices! Don't wait until the last min and hope it is still there hoping for a better deal! A lot of people have been dissapointed by that :(.
Clothing is 65% off and most everything else is 50%. Furniture has been marked down again, most to their final price. I didn't have time to get to the art work to come in and we will talk about it!
Hope to see everyone, if not to buy but to say hello! We will be open 10-5 and Sunday 11-5.
