RiverSlung Custom Baits pic of the day ........ our 9” Weng Liz ! This lizard stretches out to 14” when the tail is fully extended . Can be fished Tx rig, Carolina rig, jig trailer , weightless topwater , or my favorite on a stand up shaky head jig . The tail has an auger type action and since my baits float the tail rises up from the bait no matter how you use it . Can also cut it in half and use it for two different applications. The front half can be turned around to make an interesting Ned rig . The back half a shortened trailer for jigs, spinnerbaits and weedless spoons . Some of my bigger fish have been in this bait as a topwater over the top of lily pads, pondweed , milfoil and hydrilla . They will blow a hole in it trying to get at it . Colors can be single , double or triple laminate , or core shot in case you want a different color tail . My most productive lizard by far .

RiverSlung Baits 4” Thumper Swimbait. Solid body . This can be done in single colors , side by side colors , and core shot . Different color tails if you wish by core shotting . We found that the tails don’t come off anymore by doing this . Before when cutting off the tail and shooting another color the bond wasn’t that great and would break off . Not anymore . This bait can be used by itself on a jighead , screw lock weighted swimbait hook , swimjig, spinnerbait, or even topwater by itself with a weightless hook . I caught my PB on this bait , a 14.20 behemoth (see pic) so big fish do eat this little jewel. The tail really thumps with a lot of movement on this one . You’ll find this bait on my deck at all times too . It’s that good . I use it in saltwater a LOT ! The specks and red inhale this one !!! Flounder and Drum too !!!!

RiverSlung 4” Mag Grub . Color wise can be made in single , double laminate , or core shot !! Numerous applications with this one . Tx rig , Carolina rig , stand up shaky head. As a trailer for spoons , spinnerbaits, jig heads , buzz baits , weightless topwater (awesome little snake) . You saltwater anglers will love this one . Speckled trout, reds and flounder smack this one hard !!!

Our 5” Big Weng Craw . Can be done in single , laminate and core shot colors . Bait is very versatile. Can be used by itself , jig trailer , spinnerbait trailer , spoon trailer , Texas or Carolina rig , topwater by itself or punching hydrilla on a heavy pegged Texas rig . Turn it sideways on a jig and you have a bluegill profile for a swimbait !! As are all our baits , there are no additives such as salt etc so the bait has excellent buoyancy. The claws float upward in the fighting position every time . The claws themselves have excellent flapping motion and really move in the water . My favorite application is on a heavy stand up shaky head . Lift drop retrieve . Or slow roll it like a spinnerbait. And my swimjigs have this as a trailer everytime . Punching hydrilla……It is one of my go-to’s . There is always one tied on my boat deck .
