New beginnings, another school year.
The hustle and bustle of high school kids gathering, the sound of their chatter and that unmistakable energy that comes with every new year.

So many years have passed yet it feels sooo familiar.
Nothing makes me happier.
Visions of my kids at CVHS… and of myself 50 years ago, dawdling home from McChesney and Oakland High, flood my memory.

But what pleases me most?
Students walking home along the safe, smooth, BEAUTIFUL SIDEWALKS on Somerset. ❤️

JEWELRY TIP CLEANING Sterling Silver-
Worn links/silver can happen.

Sterling silver links can wear out over time due to friction, softness of the metal and chemical exposure.
Constant movement between individual links causes microscopic rubbing, THINNING silver slowly at pivot points over years of daily wear.
Pure silver is too soft for jewelry so it is often mixed with harder metals like copper, making 92.5% sterling silver.
It is softer than gold, causing it to wear under heavy tension.
Can gold Links wear out….. yes.
