Heartbreaking to hear …. A lot of small businesses are on the edge.
It’s a constant leap of faith to own a small business…
disappointed to hear such negativity about a business when they sink their heart and more into it.

The folks at Olive + Finn on Castro Valley Boulevard have announced they plan to close on January 19, 2025. They plan to continue selling on their online shop and through local pop up events. "Thank you for your unwavering support and for making Olive + Finn a part of your lives. Stay tuned for updates on our upcoming pop-ups and online launches—we’re so grateful to have you with us on this journey," said owner Jacqueline Pham via a social media post.

SHINY Brites… we sold them all holiday season!
Yes, those ornaments, the ONES that drop MYSTERIOUSLY in the middle of the night from tree branches…the sound of the clear, crisp crash that makes us cringe.
The ONES… we treasure, surviving our childhood with tiny remnants of hardened snow and wisps of tinsel ….
The ONES… we hope that our kitties, every season don’t chase their reflections in the twinkling lights.
