Ever wondered where our new name came from?

Nyangi (냥이) is a cute Korean word for “kitty.” It’s an affectionate nickname people use when talking about cats—warm, playful, and full of love.

When we were searching for a new name, we wanted something that felt exactly like the world we’re trying to build.

A place where black cats aren’t seen as mysterious or unlucky…
They’re seen as cute, lovable, curious, and full of personality.

That’s what Nyangi means to us.

So while our name has changed from Black Cat Closet to Nyangi Studio USA, our heart hasn’t.

🖤 We’re still designing for cat lovers.
🖤 We’re still celebrating black cats.
🖤 We’re still supporting black cat rescue.

The name is new.
The mission is the same.

Welcome to Nyangi Studio USA—where every black cat deserves to be loved, one nyangi at a time. 🐾
