Big things are happening!
Today we're pouring concrete for our new silt sock manufacturing machine, a huge step toward the future of our silt sock operation! Once it's installed, this new equipment will allow us to produce more than double the amount we can currently make, helping us serve even more of our residential and commercial customers.
As of now our silt sock is manufactured here with lots of manual labor and open to all of earths elements. With this new machine we can now manufacture 2-3× the current amount, manufacture inside - cover from rain/snow, and create a higher quality product.
We're incredibly grateful to Naturally Lewis for helping make this expansion possible. Their support is helping us continue to grow, invest in our community, and better serve our customers.
Silt sock - Silt sock is an environmentally friendly erosion-control barrier filled with compost that helps filter stormwater, slow runoff, and keep sediment from washing into nearby ditches and waterways during construction. It's a simple but effective way to protect our local environment while projects are underway.
