Let’s talk ingredients. What’s inside our balms, and why we use them. Kicking us off is Myhrr resin/oil.

What’s inside?

1. Furanoeudesma-1,3 diene
Function: Analgesic, helps direct the nervous system to provide localized pain relief in an effected area.

2. Curzerene
Function: Antioxidant/Protectant, helps protect the skin barrier of UV damage, environmental pollutants, and free radical and oxidative damage.

3. Lindestrene
Function: Anti-inflammatory, helps reduce redness, swelling, and overall inflammation in an effected area.

Why do we use it in our balms?

Myrrh is a great addition to any skincare routine. We use it for its ability to help keep the skin calm and free of swelling and puffiness. We also love it for its ability to keep bacteria out of the skin, and its ability to repair skin fibroblasts. Essentially helping the skin repair faster from cuts, scrapes, blemishes, and come back stronger than before. Not to mention that beautifully sweet aroma that fills the room when you crack it open.

Tallow Healing Balm is our only product with Myhrr inside. It’s the perfect addition to anything you use for healing of a wound, tattoo, or any area that needs a little love.

Production day! Today we’re focusing solely on our Mag-Relief. Each and every batch is infused with pure frankincense resin, low temp to extract and preserve all the nutrients that are normally destroyed during processing. It takes about 6 hours to do this part of the process alone. A little time consuming but that’s part of the reason it works so well. Using the whole parts of whatever ingredients you’re using often yields better results. Not to mention it leaves an incredibly sweet and somewhat piney smell thought the room 🌲
