This guitar is up for sale.I have compared this guitar to my 815 Taylor, Martin HD28 and Gibson advanced jumbo and it smokes all of them. The sound is nice and balanced, the bass is clear and bell like and the sustain is astounding. This guitar is a considerable valuer as compared to the above mentioned instruments. Leave a message and I will arrange for a visit with this beauty.

This guitar came in the door with the fret board cracking and lifting. A little heat, a little scraping, a little routing, a little glue, a bunch of clamps and BAM ! Good as new.

Soon the time of year will come where it's -10 degrees and you will be traveling with your guitar. If you love your guitar, take the time to let your guitar acclimate to the extreme rates in temperature changes. What happens is that when your guitar sees an extreme temp change, with out the benefit of a chance to slowly manage the changes, the guitar will react quickly ( the body will move ) but the finish does not. We have all seen finishes that have big long cracks or little tiny spidering all over the body. This is what can happen.

My friends. It is the time of year where the weather and humidity levels are changing. I am already seeing instruments that require some adjustments to counter this condition. Please monitor the humidity where your instrument lives.

This is one of the more interesting repairs I have done recently. This is on a vintage Guild 12 string. The customer wanted the pick up removed which left a 1.5 " x 1.5 " hole where the controller went. There was a mystery hole put in the bottom end. I made a new nut and saddle were made and the instrument was set up. The end pins looked like old teeth. They were replaced with ebony pins. The instrument is fit and ready for action!!!
