In two weeks (December 7th), our friends at Southern Snowman will have a winter wonderland set up here at Dorcas Plaza! It is a great time to drop off food donations for the food pantry and see some snow!

Hatteras Village Waterfowl Festival was a wonderful event. We met and socialize with several local folks who live at Hatteras year round. We also met folks from Maryland and Virginia who have second homes at Hatteras and attended the event. Thank you Karla & the STAFF of volunteers including students for organizing, planning and cooking the wonderful food for the event!

The process of turning and the first sanding of the stabilized & laminated wood is completed for some oyster shuckers. Theses have received a layer of clear finish also. The Burl Handel has some great figure but Burl usually does.
