Thank you for visiting my page! I was trained in classic calligraphy at the renowned Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA and began practicing my art in 1998. I love working with clients to create one of a kind unique products, whether it be wedding invitations, stationery or custom art. It is helpful to know there is a difference between calligraphy and hand lettering, and both are legiti

mate disciplines. Calligraphy is the art of WRITING letters using a single pass of the pen, typically using a nib and ink. Lettering consists of drawing / building up letters through the use of pencils, sharpies, and brush or gel pens. I specialize in calligraphy, and use traditional nibs with ink to create my art. There are countless "hands" (or styles) that can be used in combination with varying size, color, and shape to achieve the look you want!
