Road trip with my critter fiends from Street Creature puppet club to the Annual Cary “Under the silver Moon lantern parade “ what a perfect fun delightful night, stopped raining and then it was a warm 72 degree night to wander around their beautiful downtown, so many amazing lanterns and it was my first time carrying the gorgeous Heron !

What an amazing lantern Parade in Cary tonight ! And I got to carry the Heron for the first time , perfect warm weather ,( 72 ) And fantastic waterways along the parade route , simply a delight ! Topped off by a delicious Turkish dinner at The Bosphorous restaurant ….

Unexpectedly fun party at Mardi Gras 12th night last night great costumes and wild dancing!! And I got to meet in person , my virtual friend I have been following online for almost 2 years ,Matilda Potter ( a fellow Potter!!) haha i got to meet her in the flesh!! Can not wait till she re-opens her studio in Old fort soon!!

News Flash : I just scored a space to sell my pottery! So excited to join all the many other artists displaying their creations at this cool venue in East Asheville , it’s called Coffee Art Music place, it has great coffee and host music jams and , dance classes as well as other events . It’s a non- profit whose outreach is supporting 16-26 yr old artists and does awesome cool things . I’ll post the link to their website below . Please drop by and check it out, it’d open 9-4 Mon-Sat and host several evening events . The owner is really amazing and runs “Swing Asheville “ events . So happy to finally get my pottery “out there “ !

Please check out the Coffee , Art, Music type place on tunnel road east Asheville I just rented a space to sell my pottery and there are a bunch of other artist selling all kinds of cool stuff . And Danna the owner is running a non-profit outreach to help artists get started in the art world , and she has a great selection of yummy coffees and teas . She is also hosting , open Mic nights , and dance classes. I’m signing up to learn the Charleston, which starts this Monday January 5th . I’ll post the link to her website below . Open 9-4 Mon-Sat
