Hats off to Raleigh Brewing Company, Crape Myrtle Festival (and the amazing queens who entertained us), and Be Like Missy (Erica) for putting on an amazing kick off to Pride 🏳️‍🌈 on Saturday! And a huge THANKS to all who came out to support!! You really showed out!

While you’re out and about today, deciding on your outfit, picking up a fresh jar of glitter and making sure you have sunscreen - don’t forget to grab some cash to tip your queens at !

These lovely queens volunteer their time for - an amazing local nonprofit. Tips are how we show appreciation to these divas for getting dolled up and putting THE BEST show for us!
Don’t worry, if you happen to forget your $$$ CMF will be able to take cards to give you some $1 - but it’s always nice to come prepared 😉

Crape Myrtle Festival’s mission:
To encourage and promote the development of services for persons living with HIV, additionally, to raise money to provide financial assistance, outreach and education to realized needs within the local LGBTQ+ community. To encourage the growth and healthy diversity, creativity and communication within the local LGBTQ+ community and to honor these accomplishments through grand celebration.

I’ll be vending at Out! Raleigh Pride on Saturday, June 27 from 12 PM to 7 PM!

Join us on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh! Friday, June 26th is the newest addition to Pride Month in the City of Oaks. Friday will focus on adults (18+) only entertainment and vendors. Friday night will run from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Saturday, June 27th from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm is the action-packed, family-friendly festival you’re used to. The event offers live entertainment, local vendors and artists, great food, a KidsZone, and a beer garden! There is no admission fee for either day.

This event is an important way to raise the necessary funds to support the LGBT Center of Raleigh and all of its 20+ amazing community programs. Last year’s event brought tens of thousands of people onto Raleigh’s Fayetteville Street to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, our friends, and families.

In the last decade, the event has become an integral part of Raleigh’s downtown culture, promoting diversity, awareness, and a sense of belonging for the LGBTQIA+ community. Each year has been more successful than the last, and this year will be no exception!

Join us at Trophy on Maywood June 20th, 12-5pm, for Pop Up Raleigh open air market with 30+ vendors, food trucks, a kid’s zone and lots of cute dogs.
Pop-Up Raleigh is a rain or shine market, so whatever the forecast-join us! Each month, March through December, different vendors are handpicked with an emphasis on local art, vintage clothing & decor, Raleigh swag and small batch goods.

Pop-Up Raleigh is a family friendly event, with delicious Trophy beverages, food trucks and lots of space to relax and shop local. As always, FREE parking and admission!

Day 5 - Much like this beautiful cat, Zalo here, we had a lazy day as well. We did manage to make it out to the middle of this frozen pond though, where some people more ambitious than us made a snowman!
