A Special Build for a Peaceful Place:

It has been a long time since we have shared updates on any of our builds. We asked permission to post this memorial bench.

It was truly an honor to have the opportunity to craft this memorial bench for a cherished client. This bench, nestled in a peaceful memorial garden overlooking the water, holds a special place in memory. It was thoughtfully placed in one of the late husband’s favorite spots—where he found tranquility and connection to nature.

Inspired by the calming lines of a Japanese Telephone garden, the design of the bench reflects that serene, meditative style. Every curve and line was carefully considered to complement the peaceful surroundings, creating a space for reflection and remembrance.

To ensure the memory endures, a custom engraved placard was added to honor his life and legacy, a lasting tribute that will be a part of this beautiful garden for years to come.

May this bench offer solace and a place for quiet moments of connection.

Between builds, we do get the opportunity to do projects around the house.

Two projects needed to get completed: replacing our coffee table top and our workbench.

Why thought, why not merge the two?

So many hours were spent at this workbench. It was the foundation for every FoxBee product for three years. We couldn't think of a better way to memorialize it then to clean it up and turn it into a staple in our home.

Happy retirement, workbench top!
