Apparently my sewjo decided to take a vacation this week. 🧵😂

When inspiration is running low, sometimes the best thing to do is keep it simple. Instead of tackling complicated bag projects, I spent some time making cozy baby blankets and soft burp cloths. They're quick, practical, and honestly pretty satisfying to finish!

Not every sewing day has to be about big projects or learning new techniques. Sometimes it's about enjoying the process, getting a few finishes under your belt, and waiting for that creative spark to come back.

Does anyone else's hobby mojo disappear from time to time, or is it just me? 🤔

Spent the morning at the Georgia Celebrates Quilts Show. I love seeing all the beautiful quilts. Here are a few of my favorites. Looking forward to making my second quilt ever this year. Now to go home and sew!

I love that my son has the same core teachers each year at the Hiram Academy of Computer Science. I also love getting to show them that we appreciate how much they pour into him.

When working on custom orders, but you want someone to talk to.....you get your husband to work on editing his book in the sewing studio. This also means you listen to pirate music since his book is about pirates.

What an amazing weekend at Rose Lawn! 💛
I had the best time meeting so many wonderful people, chatting about fabrics, and sharing my love for handmade bags and accessories. Events like this remind me why I love what I do!
I’m also excited to share that I’ve just finished the first of many custom orders from the weekend—a Lord of the Rings inspired Clean Up Clutch ✨ made with a beautiful design by Linds Handmade Designs and durable waterproof canvas from K&A Custom Fabrics. I’m a little obsessed with how it turned out!
If you placed a custom order, I’m officially in sewing mode and working my way through them. I can’t wait to bring your ideas to life!
