🦖We were so thankful to host a King of Tokyo Godzilla Local Qualifier Tournament the past several weeks!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, participated & supported the event!

Big thanks to for putting on this super fun event as well. Good luck to everyone who moves on the finals at GenCon, including our very own store winner!

Ready for the best game of summer? (At least our pick….)

dnup (down-up) is a brand new card game by the same designer as Scout!

Your goal is to empty your hand of all your cards first. More on how to play below, but you can always stop by and we’d be more than happy to show you in person!

Each turn you can do one of the following:

1. Play cards from your hand.
2. Add one card to the table.
3. Take cards from the table.
4. Revolve all cards in your hand.

When you play cards, you can play one or more cards of the same value — but if you play as many cards as another player has in front of them, your cards must be of higher value.

When you add one card, you add a card of the same value to someone else’s played cards — but if that player would now have the same number of cards as a third player, the third player’s cards must be a lower value, in which case they revolve them and return them to hand.

When you pick up cards from in front of another player, revolve them, then add them to your hand.

The first player to empty their hand scores 2 points, and cards don’t return to their hand, even if beaten. The second player to empty their hand scores 1 point. Play multiple rounds until someone has at least 4 points, then whoever has the most points wins!

We’ve been selected to host a King of Tokyo Tournament. The winner will score an advance copy of King of Tokyo Godzilla as well as entry to GenCon to play in the national event!

This event is welcome to both new and experienced players alike!

What: play in 1 of 2 preliminary King of Tokyo events. Top 2 players of each weekend matches move on to the final event!

When: Saturday May 9th at 3pm or Saturday May 16th at 3pm. Final event Saturday May 30th at 3pm.

Where:

Prizes: Overall winner earns a copy of King of Tokyo Godzilla and a ticket to GenCon (travel and stay not included). 2nd through 4th place players get a copy of King of Tokyo 2nd Edition used during the events. Raffle prize & promo opportunities for other players!

How to play: Sign up in the store or message us! Entry is $5. Spots will go fast. Sign up early!
