Great propane grill tips from CHS Inc, as the summer grilling season gets started!

CHS propane operations and safety manager Bryan Wendt shares three key tips to keep propane grills from flaring up:

▪️Light grills with the lid open to prevent gas buildup
▪️If the flame goes out, turn off the gas and wait a few minutes with the lid open so any gas can safely disperse
▪️Transport propane tanks upright and never in the passenger area of a vehicle
▪️Secure and store your tank safely—always outdoors and away from buildings

A few smart steps go a long way toward worry‑free grilling.

That's exactly what happened during a recent vaporizer training for the team at Arrick's Propane Clarktown Office, led by GEC's own Todd Meyer with support from Lee Naylor and Bob Chandler.

With decades of combined industry experience, the GEC team shared insights, field stories, and answers to the questions technicians face every day.
