Flower Fact Friday…
I realized recently that “flower farmer” is a bit of a misnomer and I think we need to petition to be “bouquet farmers” 😅
When you think of a traditional farm, they topically grow one or two “crops.” But most flower farmers grow 10+ because we aren’t growing for the specific crop, we’re growing to make a bouquet and that requires foliage, ideally something with a spike shape, large flowers, and small flowers. There are many crops each with their own care needs.
Can you spot all the crops in just this one photo? (Answer in photo #2) And that’s just one area!
