It is with sadness that I share the passing of longtime Carrboro resident, Sherri Ontjes. Sherri founded the NC Crafts Gallery in 1989 and owned and operated it until 2004. Sherri not only taught me how to run the business, but she introduced me to the vibrant and abundant world of art and craft, in this beautiful state of North Carolina. I am forever grateful for her trust, advice and friendship over the years. She will be missed. ❤️ Sara
