Whimsy has been in the quaint seaside town of Carpinteria since 2002 and we are always so excited to welcome a new and exciting business to town! and Ryan have created a wonderful shop upstairs at 888 Linden Ave.

The light pouring through the gorgeous windows and the view are lovely and their collection of wares for living close to nature and the sea are all so stunning, as are the artful displays contained in their airy space.

Behind the scenes!

Many of us who treasure hunt absolutely love the thrill of the hunt. This past weekend I found myself wandering around the backyard of an estate and came across a long forgotten greenhouse with plants and weeds blocking the door.

Mind you, that is not an obstacle for the serious and curious hunter….and swipe to see the sweet find I unearthed in this abandoned structure.

Many of you who shop stores like ours have no idea what we actually do to bring the finds to share with you.
