What an incredible day with the Holiday Horn Choir! Over 35 musicians—spanning all ages and experience levels—came together from across the Sacramento area for a truly unforgettable event. Participants enjoyed private lessons from four outstanding horn professors, tried their hand at the Alphorn (a first for many!), joined in group playing sessions, and even learned from an on‑the‑spot repair clinic.

A huge thank you to Dr. Randall Faust (Horn Professor Emeritus, Western Illinois University), Professor Sadie Glass (University of the Pacific), Dr. Natalie Higgins (University of Nevada, Reno), and Captain Brian O’Donnell (Conductor, U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West) for sharing their expertise and making this such a special experience.

And an extra shout‑out to Kennedy Youmans for coordinating the event and leading the repair instruction.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year. Hope to see you there!
