As most of you know, I am participating in the Indiana Best Buddies Champion of the Year Campaign for Indiana.

Through Best Buddies, thousands of people with disabilities have successfully moved from segregation and desolation to a new acceptance in their family and community. In turn, Best Buddies has created a new spirit of public service for thousands of middle school, high school and college volunteers that will last a lifetime.

I am personally thankful and blessed to have an employee as well friend on my team through Best Buddies. Without the Best Buddies program, I may never have had the opportunity to work with RJ! He is one of the most positive, kind and hardworking individuals that I know. RJ shows up everyday he’s scheduled ready to work and always gives 100%.

He often asks what else he can do to help and learn more. It has been so cool, to see how RJ has grown both personally and professionally since joining our team. I can see such a difference in his confidence, communication and relationship building since joining our team. We couldn’t imagine our team without him and are thankful for his friendship.

With that said, these shirts were created to help raise funds for our campaign. The image/logo on this this shirt represents RJ's favorite thing to do, cycle! He rides his bike to work majority of the time and has a passion for riding around on the Monon when we don't have him busy at work! : )
