Dropped off some seasonal chocolates and restocked some favorites at Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli yesterday, including holiday bark, chocolate stars, chocolate-dipped orange peels, maple creams, hazelnut creams, chocolate-dipped ginger, and of course honey caramels with sea salt.

With winter storm heading our way, not sure how many more opportunities I’ll have to restock, so be sure to stop by as soon as you can for the best selection!

Note: I will be taking a break starting early year, so please be sure to pick up your favorite Honest Chocolates while they’re still available!

Honest Chocolates for Valentine’s Day is a local tradition, and you can find them at Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli, in the chocolate case near the Third Street entrance. Choose your own assortment from our selection of creams, toffees, bark, honeycomb, and more, including the very popular salted honey caramels. Ask the staff to put your chocolates in one of our standup heart boxes and you’re good to go!

We stocked the case yesterday and will be back later in the week with more, but right now we are limited in how much we can make. (The pandemic makes everything more complicated—we appreciate your understanding.) So if you are looking for a particular chocolate, please stop by as soon as possible, because we expect to run out of some items.

We also have a VERY limited selection of chocolate heart dishes filled with favorites.

Stayed at work past 1am Monday night (well, technically Tuesday morning) making chocolates to get the case at Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli fully stocked for this week. Brought back some old favorites, along with seasonal offerings like holiday bark, chocolate stars, chocolate-dipped glazed orange peel, and peppermint bark.

I stocked the case yesterday afternoon, then returned after 15 minutes to find someone had purchased ALL the Mac Mochas and most of the True Fudge centers! Luckily I had a few more of both in inventory, but if there’s an Honest Chocolates you have your heart set on, I would stop by Harvest Fresh as soon as possible!

Like other businesses large and small, we have unique challenges this year (supply chain, labor shortage, etc.) and have looked for creative workarounds. New for December 2021 is our Chocolate Holiday Bark. (Think of it as chocolate, but decorated for the holidays!)

Last i checked we still had some of these at Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli. They’re made with real pumpkin, and some of our customers say they taste like pumpkin pie.

You can find our Pumpkin Ganaches with Pie Spices, along with Salted Honey Caramels, Peanut Butter Cups, and many other Honest Chocolates favorites in the case in front of the Deli Department at the Third Street entrance to Harvest Fresh. Happy Thanksgiving!

Update: we dropped chocolates off at Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli a few days ago, to stock them for Valentines, but have been icebound since then. They have been open, but with reduced hours, so I believe they still have our chocolates (and heart boxes to put them in!) along with other nice Valentine’s gifts. You can also call ahead to find out what they have—ask for the Deli department.

Update: As most of our wholesale customers are bouncing back from the earlier shutdown (yay!), we are once again closing the shop at the Honest Chocolates Carlton Kitchen. Meanwhile, you can still find our chocolates at the following locations:

We continue to stock the case weekly at natural grocery store Harvest Fresh Grocery & Deli in McMinnville. They have a good selection of most favorites (caramels, creams, peanut butter cups, rocky road, toffee, bark, and more). They also offer curbside pickup and delivery. Don’t forget as a grocer they carry a large number of other items you could probably use, like meat, dairy, bread, bulk foods, local produce, and even toilet paper. Their number is 503-472-5740.

In Forest Grove, downtown wine bar Urban Decanter​ still offers dark chocolate ganaches and salted caramels along with their delicious carry out meals and wine. And they have resumed in-house service with 4 tables for reservations!

More good news: the gift shop at Durant at Red Ridge Farms has resumed carrying the popular milk chocolate salted caramels and dark chocolate salted lavender caramels (did you know we use their lavender??)!
